Jnan Vikas Mandal (JVM) established in 1974 as an educational Trust registered under BPT Act 1950 No. BPT – F – 3574. With a deep-rooted desire and a strong commitment to provide value-based education which would also enhance the employability of the students. The Mandal started an English Medium School which is the first of its kind in a remote suburb Kalwa. The Mandal is committed to cater to the academic needs of locals who are of middle & lower middle-income group with majority being first generation learners.

The mandal has successfully started and developed two educational institutes (a) New English School and Padmashri Dr. R.T Doshi Jr. College at Kalwa with 5000 students and (b) Jr. College and Mehta Degree College at Airoli, Navi Mumbai with over 4000 students taking education in various courses up to post graduation. We can proudly say that we provide education from Kg. to PG.

Our mission is to provide quality-based education that promotes critical thinking, creativity and ethical values. We offer a wide range of disciplines such as Science and Commerce in Junior College at Airoli where young minds begin their journey towards academic excellence. We have a strong academic foundation with a blend of academic excellence and modern infrastructure. Our Undergraduate courses in B.Com, B.Sc, BBI, BAF, BMS B.Sc IT B.Sc (CS) and BAMMC. The courses in Post Graduate are M..Sc (Organic & Analytical Chem.), M. Com (Advd. Accountancy) and M.Sc (IT). The college has Ph.D centre for Chemistry. Our college is affiliated with University of Mumbai and the college has NAAC accredited with ‘A+’ grade. Life at JVM is more than just academics the students engage in meaningful extracurricular activities, community services, leadership programmes and innovative challenges beyond the classroom.
